Valtice castle
Baroque castle located in Moravian town Valtice in Břeclav region in the Czech Republic. It is preserved as a national cultural heritage of Czech Republic since 1995 and in 1996 it was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Index as a part of Lednice - Valtice Areal. For several centuries it was a princely residence of the Liechtenstein family. It is in possession of the state (administration is provided by the National Heritage Institute) and it is open to public.
COLONNADE ON REISTEN
The Colonnade on the Reistenberg hill (called also Hummock), which rises on the border of current Southern Moravia and Lower Austria, is one of the last pieces of work by architect Josef Hardtmuth in the Liechtenstein´s service. Hardtmuth designed a classical colonnade shape; on its axis he placed a free interpretation of a Roman triumphal arch. This is one of the highlights of the Empire’s triumphalism in our country.
DIANA´S TEMPLE (RENDEZ-VOUS)
After having finished the farmhouse Nový dvůr and presenting the project for the hunting chateau Pohansko, the prince Jan I ordered his court architect Josef Hardtmuth to design another voluptuary building – Diana´s Temple. It is also known as Rendez-vous probably because it was used as a meeting place and facilities for hunters before hunting. Diana´s Temple is located near Valtice on the left of the road to Poštorná. The architect Josef Poppelack managed the construction work from 1810-1813.
BELVEDER PLEASURE-HOUSE
The Belveder was built in 1804-1806 upon the initiative of the ruling Prince Alois I of Liechtenstein (1759-1805). It was designed by the architect Josef Hardmuth (1758-1816). The pleasure-house, besides its beautification and representation functions, also had a practical function – it was the centre of a pheasantry.
CHAPEL OF ST. HUBERT
The Chapel of St. Hubert is a neogothic chapel in the Lednice-Valtice Area. A triangular shaped chapel with three Gothic arches and ribbed vault which was built in the middle of the Boří les forest according to plans by Georg Wingelmüller under the rule of Alois II Prince of Liechtenstein in 1855. In the middle of the chapel, there is a statue of St. Hubert standing on a pedestal with statues of angels.
HERB GARDEN
The unique herb garden lies very close to Valtice castle in the place of former castle garden centre. In thematic garden beds, you will find over 300 species of herbs that are useful not only for treatment, but also for the dyeing of fabrics or for the seasoning of dishes. You will get to know the plants that have always been considered as magical, and you will find out which plants are irresistible attractions for colourful butterflies.
CITY MONUMENT CIRCUIT
Valtice is a wine town in Mikulov wine sub-region. Historical centre of the town is preserved as a city monument zone. Lednice-Valtice Areal is a landscape monument zone. MUZEUMS
You can find four interesting museums in Valtice – City Museum, National Museum of Agriculture, Iron Curtain Museum, and Museum of Torture.

Salon of wine
Czech Republic Salon of Wine is prestigious award of a hundred best wines following the highest National Wine Competition in Czech Republic which covers the system of nomination sub-regional competitions. The competition itself is followed with yearly opened public wine tasting exposition of the best hundred wines, placed in cellar spaces of Valtice state castle.
Wine shop Kopeček
In the wine shops Vinum Bonum in the square and in the castle in Valtice you can find wide range of mostly Moravian wines from close neighbourhood of Valtice. Only in these wine shops you can purchase wines of Ing. Jiří Kopeček Winery including wine tasting. Yearly we also offer wine tasting ice wine and straw wine and sale of small reminders and souvenirs.
Valtice undergroung
Unique underground labyrinth of interconnected renewed parts of historic wine cellars with a total length over 900 m. It is dating back to 1289 with the establishment of minority monastery.
Castle cellar
Cellar from 1430 is one of the oldest and largest ones in central Europe, guided tours with wine tasting in the tourist season.
Valtice wine cellars
It is one of the oldest and most important wineries in Czech Republic. It is a family type of enterprise with deep Moravian roots and traditions. With its character, focus, and size the company correspond to medium-sized producer of French type CHÂTEAU and at the same time it is the largest wine grower in Czech Republic. Winery is specialized mostly in production of luxurious attributive wines known under the brand CHÂTEAU VALTICE.
Villa Daniela
Rural residence for wine lovers is situated in wonderful surroundings of Lednice-Valtice Areal in Úvaly near Valtice, in the middle of South Moravian vineyards. Besides comfortable accommodation in cosy furnished apartments Villa Daniela offers relax in a large garden with playground and climbing frames, bathing in a pool with salty water and sitting on a terrace with view to a little lake full of toi carps. Guests can use air-conditioned seminar room for 40 persons, cigar lounge and possibility of wine tasting in wine cellars.
Winery Neustifter
In the third generation is managed as a family enterprise. Today we cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards. Best locations have such significant names as Hermannschachern, the oldest wine trail Poysdorf, Zapfelsbergen, Maxendorf, and Saurüssel. The main cultivar is Grüner Veltliner, but also Welschriesling, Rheinriesling, Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay thrive on sunny slopes of amazing aromatic trail of Weinviertel. Special love belongs to red wine. Besides main cultivars Blauer Portugieser and Zweigelt other cultivars Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Pinot Noir are grew in this category.
Tennis courts
The only tennis court belonging to UNESCO. It is situated in the castle park with clay surface. You can also use 2 tennis courts with artificial surface in the premises of the Wine Gallery Pod zámkem near the hospital.
Trail barefoot
Since May 2013 original tourist attraction is open near Valtice - Trail Barefoot. It is rarity in Czech Republic, but in Germany and Austria are such trails (Barfußweg) popular. This circular trail nearly 5 km long runs from neighbour Austrian town of Schrattenberg to Valtice - towards romantic building Colonnade on the highest point of Lednice-Valtice Areal. There are 11 stops placed along the trail, where visitors can walk barefoot on bark, strobiles, sand, stones ...Balance on unsteady timber bridge, have a rest on wooden sun bed and enjoy the view to wide surroundings from the highest point - the Hummock hill. Children can use natural slide. Concerned people can use the natural grill to prepare something brought from stocks.
Bicycle touring
Liechtenstein trails are unique complex of bike trails connecting the most beautiful monuments of the Liechtenstein family. Four shorter routes: Břeclav, Poštorná, Lednice, and Valtice route connect to 90 km long circuit of over border princely trail.
Sports hall
You can make reservation for the hall to play floorball, volleyball, badminton, basketball, handball, hall football, tennis, table tennis, futnet or for social and cultural events.
Cykloráj
In summer 2010 we opened new building of the shop Cyklo-sport. With its area of approximately 300 m2 it belongs among largest specialized shops of bicycle equipment in South Moravia. The main activity is sale of bicycles, accessories, and spare parts for all types of bicycles. Sport equipment, clothing and footwear are sold in the shop as well. We also run bicycle rental. Self-evident is providing professional service of all types of bicycles.

In the middle of Valtice. Whirlpool for 5 persons, Finnish sauna for 4-6 persons, massages, relax room. You can find here restaurant with calm atmosphere of first-republic style. We are mostly focused on Czech and Moravian cuisine but our menu contains Italian or French season specialities.

Thermal bath is a synonym for wellness, sauna and relax. Trip to the thermal paradise in Weinviertel region offers pleasant opening time as well as attractive fees for family and guarantees leisure and relaxation. The journey takes only 30 minutes by car.

Aqualand Moravia is the most modern entertainment water centre in Czech Republic. You can find it in tourist locality of South Moravia with wonderful view to the Palava Hills. More than 100 years old corner house with original ceilings made a base for reconstruction into the style restaurant of old Czech spirit. The restaurant was opened in 1993 with significant name "Valtická rychta" (Valtice village mayor´s office). At this moment we needed only staff with honest and professional attitude to its work and offer satisfying even gourmets. For decades roasted ribs and knees dominate in our menu. The secret is our own marinade. Another speciality is „Mayor´s cutlet“. Its taste also depends on typical marinades. As Valtice has thousand-year-old tradition in growing and producing wine our restaurant has offer of excellent wines just from the south of Moravia.
